In the area of actuarial and statistics, you assume actuarial responsibility for several capital risk insurances, a mixed insurance and two fund savings products. • Ensure that the calculations of the technical obligations and the technical part of the SST are correct and timely.
• You create and adjust life insurance rates according to legal requirements and ensure that they are correctly implemented by the IT team in the system (including tests and acceptances).
• You will provide all relevant key figures and life insurance documents to FINMA and the management.
• You are responsible for several reports.
• You are the central contact person for actuarial questions about life insurance.
• For these tasks, you often work interdisciplinary with other specialists.
• There are development opportunities in health insurance and data analysis. You bring that with you
• You have a degree with a strong mathematical or quantitative focus (FH or university) and ideally an actuarial further education such as Aktuar SAV.
• You have in-depth knowledge of actuary models and methods in life insurance.
• You enjoy analysing and understanding special cases in the IT system and demonstrating their correctness.
• A safe handling of Excel is a matter of course for you. Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. SQL, VBA, R) is an advantage.
• You will translate theoretical knowledge and new regulatory requirements into practical solutions.
• You approach problems analytically and pragmatically and solve tasks on your own responsibility.
• You can simplify complex issues and communicate them verbally and in writing in perfect German.
