Area of activity

• Assortment responsibility: responsibility for the design, planning and ongoing analysis of the allocated furniture area
• Corporate management: Responsibility for budget, turnover and stocks as well as ensuring optimal availability of goods
• Supplier management: conducting price, condition and contract negotiations with national and international suppliers
• Procurement Market Analysis: Observation, analysis and evaluation of current and potential procurement markets at home and abroad
• Strategic development: Identification of market trends and development of attractive product range and procurement concepts
• Performance management: Analysis of sales, sales and key figures to optimize the range
• Leadership: Operational leadership of the purchasing assistant

Profile

• Training: Completed commercial training with in-depth training or corresponding professional experience in purchasing
• Professional experience: several years of experience in purchasing furniture
• Negotiation competence: Secure appearance and experience in price and contract negotiations with suppliers
• Analytical skills: Strong understanding of numbers, analytical thinking and entrepreneurial action
• Personality: High initiative, communication strength and assertiveness
• Flexibility: resilient, flexible personality with a high willingness to travel
• IT knowledge: SAP knowledge of advantages as well as safe handling of the common MS Office applications
• Languages: German in word and writing, good knowledge of English, French is advantageous
