Main responsibilities

  • Job Responsibilities
  • Operational Bridge & Delivery Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between external technical partners and internal Solution Architects and Product Owners, translating strategic product roadmaps and architectural designs into tactical execution plans.
  • Agile Team Leadership: Lead day-to-day delivery operations for the development squads, (including Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, and backlog refinement to maintain high velocity, team predictability) and alignment with definition of done and business goals.
  • Vendor Delivery Oversight & Quality Control: Manage the daily activities and technical outputs of external consulting teams, ensuring their deliverables meet established architectural standards, data governance policies, and sprint commitments.
  • Scope / (Content Leadership): Leads the design and construction of large-scale data architectures.
  • Oversees our implementation partners, and mentors junior engineers while driving technical excellence and setting standards across the team.
  • Accountability/Problem Solving: Solves highly complex data engineering problems and troubleshoots intricate performance issues.
  • Ensures that critical data infrastructure and systems remain highly scalable, secure, resilient, and efficient.

Key requirements

  • Education / Experience
  • Extensive experience leading the design, implementation, and construction of complex data engineering solutions and large-scale data architectures.
  • Proven track record of leading squads that shape enterprise-level data infrastructure and contribute to long-term data architecture strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience contributing significantly to data governance and ensuring the resilience and security of critical data infrastructure. Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages and Big Data technologies. (Snowflake, SQL, DBT, Python, Talend, AWS) and version control systems (GITLAB/GITHUB)
  • Expertise in distributed data systems, cloud data platforms, and advanced ETL/E
