- Your role and responsibilities
- In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments.

Main responsibilities

- In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments.
- Each day, you will ensure that the activities related to engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- You will also showcase your expertise by providing technical support to commissioning and start-up activities.
- The work model for the role is: hybrid.
- This role is contributing to the Mining & Materials Plant Automation within Process Industries in Switzerland.
- You will be mainly accountable for: Acting as design authority for engineering deliverables and technical solutions towards internal organisation, customers and authorities.
- Working closely with customers to shape and deliver solutions, actively seeking feedback, to drive and deliver improvements.
- Assisting project managers in scope control risk and opportunity assessments, implementing improvements and mitigation actions.
- Leading, supervising, and coordinating all engineering disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) on projects of high/medium complexity.
Key requirements

- Strong interpersonal skills to cooperate, negotiate, and reach agreement with customers and suppliers.
- In addition to that, a collaborative, solution-oriented approach with strong written and spoken communication skills are essential.
- Experience in power and energy management systems, related SW and HW design as well as related engineering practices, codes and standards.
- Bachelor's or master's in electrical engineering, industrial automation or related technical field.
- You are at ease communicating in English.
