We use and build a modern data architecture on a state-of-the-art, cloud-based TechStack.
As a motivated data engineer, you help us model and provide various data sources on the Migros Analytics Data Platform.

- You first use automated data pipelines (dbt, SQL, Airflow/CloudComposer), as well as continuous integration and delivery workflows for ETL processes via CI/CD
- You develop and realize data models based on DataVault 2.0, which represent the structure and relationships of the data from the fields of procurement and logistics
- 32e Professional experience: in the field of data engineering (SQL, dbt, BigQury) and data modelling (Data mesh, Data Vault)
- Completed studies (Uni/ETH, FH, HF): in computer science, mathematics, physics, business information technology or a comparable training
Main responsibilities
- You first use automated data pipelines (dbt, SQL, Airflow/CloudComposer), as well as continuous integration and delivery workflows for ETL processes via CI/CD
- You develop and realize data models based on DataVault 2.0, which represent the structure and relationships of the data from the fields of procurement and logistics
- You take over the team's professional lead, advance architectural decisions and are in close contact with the PO
- You work and operate scalable, recyclable data products (Data Mesh), which are business-critical
- Provide key figures within Migros - you can use the following tools to collect and analyse business requirements, as well as to develop sustainable solutions for their implementation,
Key requirements
- 32e Professional experience: in the field of data engineering (SQL, dbt, BigQury) and data modelling (Data mesh, Data Vault)
- Completed studies (Uni/ETH, FH, HF): in computer science, mathematics, physics, business information technology or a comparable training
- You have proven knowledge of common data warehouse principles and technologies (SQL, dbt, BigQury, Terraform)
- You have experience in the professional management of teams and good architecture knowledge
- You have experience with cloud platforms, preferably the Google Cloud platform You have solid
- Programming knowledge in Python and Shell Scripting (Bash) Skills
- You show a high level of self-initiative and problem solving
