Role overview
The “Parents – woman – child” sector of the Jura Hospital, located on the Delémont site, brings together the Maternity and Pediatrics services.
Our pediatric unit welcomes infants, children and adolescents requiring acute, scheduled or monitoring care, in an environment adapted to their needs and those of their families.
Our multidisciplinary team is committed to providing comprehensive, individualized and caring care, placing the child and their loved ones at the heart of their care.
- The “Parents – woman – child” sector of the Jura Hospital, located on the Delémont site, brings together the Maternity and Pediatrics services.
- Our pediatric unit welcomes infants, children and adolescents requiring acute, scheduled or monitoring care, in an environment adapted to their needs and those of their families.
- Ensure the care of neonatology, pediatric and child psychiatry emergencies and stationary medicine-surgery unit.
- Support families and those close to patients, ensuring their well-being.
- Bachelor in Nursing or title deemed equivalent.
- Red Cross recognition for foreign diplomas (or to be requested).
Main responsibilities
- Ensure the care of neonatology, pediatric and child psychiatry emergencies and stationary medicine-surgery unit.
- Support families and those close to patients, ensuring their well-being.
- Coordinate patient care with various healthcare professionals.
- Assess the degree of urgency of the situation and provide quality, complex care, in an autonomous and medico-delegated manner.
- Ensure the continuity of information and the accuracy of transmissions.
Key requirements
- Bachelor in Nursing or title deemed equivalent.
- Red Cross recognition for foreign diplomas (or to be requested).
- Several years of experience in the pediatric field would be an asset.
- Good analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, sense of priorities and initiative.
- Fast decision-making pathways with a positive work culture promoting open and respectful communication.
