The Sr.

Main responsibilities

  • Key Responsibilities Set up and operate machinery according to specifications.
  • Monitor machine performance and product quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures.
  • Document production data and report issues.
  • Train and support junior machine operators.
  • Skills & Qualifications Typically requires vocational training (or equivalent experience) and several years of relevant work experience to carry out the role.
  • Proficiency in operating industrial machinery.
  • Understanding of safety and quality standards.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Key requirements

  • Completion of a machinist apprentice program or equivalent training.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in machining.
  • Ability to hold close tolerances and conduct component inspection.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
