- To complete our team of the emergency medical and emergency service of the Lugano Regional Hospital, we are looking for an emergency medical doctor (100%) Profile: The first-aid service of the Lugano Regional Hospital is the cantonal hub for the management of time-dependent pathologies, including stroke, polytrauma, ischemic cardiopathy, as well as neurosurgery, vascular surgery and cardiosurgery.
- The selected figures will become part of an interdisciplinary team, performing clinical, training and research activities, as well as taking small organizational tasks.
- The capiclinics will also have a key role as a tutor of doctors in training.
- The working environment is distinguished by collegiality, sharing skills, continuous training and professional stimuli.
- Educational opportunities include weekly courses, simulations, discussion of complex clinical cases, internal seminars and the possibility to participate in certified courses such as ACLS, ATLS, POCUS, PALS, AHLS and others.
- It is also possible to complete the training to obtain the SMUSS emergency doctor’s degree if not already in possession.
- Further strengths are the possibility to carry out clinical research and to collaborate in tutoring medical students of the University of Italian Switzerland.
