You will join the Research and Innovation Team Materials Chemistry and Surfaces in which you will contribute to improving the mastery of materials dedicated to JO products and watchmakers, using innovative digital tools. You will focus your actions on the control of precious stones and metal alloys, guiding the identification, l, evaluation and operation of advanced characterization techniques.

Your main responsibilities will include: Proposing relevant characterization techniques, depending on the case of use, and experimental validation. Process the data generated to support the qualification of materials, interpret the results, develop predictive models. Participate in the integration of developed techniques and the exploitation of results to provide concrete industrial recommendations. Capitalize knowledge, disseminate experiences and ensure effective collaboration between project partners.

HOW TO GO SUSTAIN WITH US? To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience: Master degree in Materials Science with strong data science skills. A PhD is an asset. First experience from 2 to 3 years in a similar role, in industrial or academic research. A junior profile with relevant experience (stage, projects, thesis) in the mentioned fields will also be considered.

Strong skills in materials science (cristallography, metall-guria) and ideally in geology, mineralogy or gemmology. In-depth knowledge and understanding of physico-chemical characterization techniques. Practice of these techniques is not indispensable. Excellent mastery of digital tools for data processing and modelling, especially Py's bookstores. Spirit of analysis, synthesis and problem solving. Curiosity, scientific rigor and orientation results. Auto-91 and proactivity, collaboration and sharing.
