Tasks
- Conducting genetic consultations in all areas of medical genetics (oncogenetics, syndromology, cardio- and neurogenetics and much more)
- Implementation of interdisciplinary consultation hours with other KSA departments (including Children's Hospital, Cardiology, Women's Hospital)
- Participation in interdisciplinary boards (including nephrology, gynecology, paediatrics)
- Preparation of advisory reports and applications and cost-effective language
Requirements
- Completed training as a specialist in medical genetics FMH or equivalent continuing education recognised in Switzerland with MEBEKO recognition
- Experience in the genetic counselling of patients both on an outpatient and consiliar basis
- Working independently and contributing to the team
- Empathetic, respectful and attentive attitude towards patients and team-oriented work
