Role overview
On behalf of the municipalities, the cantonal welfare office performs the task of personal social and addiction assistance and supports people in the development of economic social assistance.
It provides eight regional social services in the regions of the canton.
The Chur/Plessur/Imboden Regional Social Service is responsible for 10 municipalities with a catchment area of 67 000 people.

Main responsibilities
- Solution- and resource-oriented social advice for individuals and families
- Development of social security benefits and economic assistance
- Advice and financial support of persons with protection status S from Ukraine in individual accommodation
- Advising recognised and provisionally admitted refugees and foreigners on linguistic, professional and social integration
- Cooperation with social authorities and specialised bodies
- Other versatile, interesting and responsible activities Requirements
- Completed training as a social worker/in BSc/FH or a degree in comparable training
- Enjoy working with people from different social and/or cultural backgrounds
- High level of advisory competence as well as in-depth expertise in social assistance law and social insurance
