Head of Care 80 - 100% | Member of the hospital management of the Surselva Regional Hospital The Regionalspital Surselva in Ilanz ensures the extended basic and emergency care for around 22,000 inhabitants and seasonally around 20,000 holiday guests of the tourism region of Bündner Oberland. Our approximately 320 employees treat approximately 2,600 inpatient and 16,000 outpatient patients each year with modern infrastructure (CT, MRI, IMC) in the clinics of surgery and orthopaedics/traumatology with neurosurgery and urology, internal medicine with cardiology, oncology, gastroenterology and pneumology, gynecology and obstetrics, pediatrics and anesthesia. The hospital bears the label "Swiss Olympic Medical Base approved by Swiss Olympic" and offers an extended range of services thanks to the cooperation with the Center Hospital in Chur. The Regional Hospital is part of Reit da sanadad Surselva SA (RDSS). Together with eight health institutions – the Regional Hospital, five retirement and nursing homes and two Spitex organizations – and eleven municipalities, a health network is being created that ensures high-quality medical and nursing care from a single source. As of January 1, 2027, the companies will be united under the umbrella of the RDSS. For the management of the area care we are looking for 1. February 2027 or by appointment an experienced leader from the care. You are a member of the hospital management, directly subordinate to the management of the Surselva Regional Hospital and are responsible for the area of care in day-to-day business and its further development.

Their tasks

• Professional, personnel and organizational management of around 60 employees on the interdisciplinary bed ward, the emergency ward, the performance-intensive care ward, the day clinic, in the functional laboratory and in the bear rooms.
• Direct management of nursing development, vocational training and wound, stoma and incontinence counselling
• As a member of the hospital management Participation in the further development of the regional hospital and in the implementation of the merger to RDSS as of 1. January 2027
• Ensuring smooth clinical operation with efficient, economical and patient-centered processes in our own area and in cross-sectoral cooperation
• Project management and cross-cutting tasks
• Representation of the care department towards employees, partners and the population

Your profile

• Qualified nurse with in-depth leadership and management training at university level or higher
• Leadership experience in a comparable position
• Experience in designing and accompanying change processes
• Strong communication skills, performance skills and assertiveness
• Team-oriented working method and high personal responsibility
