Role overview
The civil engineering office is responsible for the design, construction, maintenance and operation of the cantonal roads as well as the hydraulic engineering and slow transport in Graubünden.
We also take care of the operational maintenance of the national roads on the cantonal territory.
The canton’s road infrastructure comprises over 1,450 artificial buildings, including bridges at airy heights of up to 90 meters and tunnels of up to 3 kilometers in length.

Main responsibilities
- Participation in the management and control of the assigned construction sites as a client representative Termination and coordination of work
- Ensuring the quality, extent and execution of the entire contract work
- Creation of cost estimates, tender documents and billing Monitoring the budget
- Completion of technical tasks for road maintenance
- Performing Picettdienst as operational manager/in Requirements
- Completed apprenticeship in the construction industry
- Some years of professional experience, ideally in civil engineering
- Willingness to complete the necessary further training as a lateral entrant for the exercise of construction management tasks Willingness to learn and assertiveness
- Personality with high social skills, organisational and negotiation skills as well as team skills Knowledge of Italian is beneficial
