Role overview
- In the ICT technology environment, analyze, validate and implement firewall and application layer gateway solutions for their feasibility and complexity as well as their effects on existing/planned systems, standards and guidelines, also as input for the ICT strategy or ICT architectures
- Check new or adapted requirements as part of requirements engineering with regard to their feasibility, technical complexity and their effects on existing and planned systems, standards and guidelines
- Analyze malfunctions and error states as part of incident, change and problem management and initiate and monitor the necessary measures to resolve them
- Participate in the development of the system architecture and the specification of suitable methods, techniques, standards and tools for the construction and operation of the systems
- Plan, evaluate, migrate, develop or implement systems in the area of security, configure, test, introduce and operate as well as create, update and maintain the associated system-technical operating documentation
- Degree (EFZ or university) in computer science, telecommunications, electrical engineering or a comparable technical field
- Basic understanding of business economics
- Several years of professional experience in the ICT environment, ideally in the area of security and server technologies, in the Check-Point environment, IBM DataPower security gateways with certifications such as CCSA/CCSE
- Team-oriented and persistent personality with a high degree of independence and good analytical skills
- Fluency with agile methods and roles (particularly SAFe, Confluence, Jira) desirable
- Oral and written knowledge of a second official language as well as knowledge of English
