The civil engineering office is responsible for the design, construction, maintenance and operation of the cantonal roads as well as the hydraulic engineering and slow transport in Graubünden.
We also take care of the operational maintenance of the national roads on the cantonal territory.
The canton’s road infrastructure comprises over 1,450 artificial buildings, including bridges at airy heights of up to 90 meters and tunnels of up to 3 kilometers in length.

- Completed technical studies, master builders’ or comparable training in civil engineering, civil engineering or related disciplines
- Several years of professional and managerial experience, ideally in public administration, civil engineering or an infrastructural environment
- Strong leadership with high social skills, integrity and assertiveness
- Ability to motivate employees, develop teams and live an appreciative leadership culture
- Negotiation skills and experience in dealing with different stakeholders
- Secure appearance and stylish oral and written communication in German
