KSGR’s intensive care department is at the heart of critical care in Southeast Switzerland. With ten IPS and eight IMC beds at the headquarters and the IMC in Walenstadt, we provide patients in an environment that combines cutting-edge technology with real humanity. As a SIWF-certified training institution in category A, we are also actively shaping the next generation of intensive care medicine.
As Chief Physician, you take on one of the most formative leadership roles in the KSGR and, as a member of the departmental management, actively shape the strategic development of intensive care medicine. These are your tasks
- Professional, personnel and organizational management of intensive care at all locations as well as medical care of critically ill patients in the service
- Co-shaping the strategic development as a member of the departmental management ANIR – in close cooperation with the departments of surgery and medicine
- Promoting innovation, clinical research and a vibrant education and training culture

- Specialist title of intensive medicine FMH (or equivalent); a second specialist title (anaesthesiology, internal medicine or surgery) is desired
- Broad clinical experience with surgical and medical intensive care patients as well as several years of senior work at a university or center hospital
- Proven leadership experience and further training in management or business administration as well as experience in process optimization
- An integrative, innovative personality with a high level of technical and social competence and enjoyment of interprofessional cooperation
