Responsibilities

• Be responsible for complex cardiology
• You will care for inpatients and outpatients with complex cardiological diseases – including heart transplants, LVAD systems, heart failure, cardiac surgery and other demanding internal comorbidities.
• Leading professionally
• You work closely with nursing, therapy and other specialist areas and contribute to high-quality patient care.
• Shaping interdisciplinary medicine
• You will work on an equal footing with nursing, therapy and other specialist areas and jointly develop individual rehabilitation concepts with a lasting effect.
• Developing young doctors
• You train assistant doctors, promote their professional development and actively shape further training in cardiology.
• Advancing cardiology
• You will contribute your ideas to the professional, organizational and strategic development of cardiology and actively shape the further expansion of acute, highly specialized cardiological rehabilitation.
• Contribute your own priorities
• You have the opportunity to further develop specialist focuses, for example in the areas of heart failure, GUCH, cardiometabolic-renal medicine, device topics, sports cardiology or clinical research.

Requirements

• Specialist qualification
• You have the title of specialist in cardiology FMH (or equivalent), ideally supplemented by a second specialist title in general internal medicine.
• Broad clinical experience
• You have several years of experience in cardiology and feel confident even with complex patients.
• Leadership skills
• You lead appreciatively, make decisions and know how to win people over to common goals.
• Joy of training
• You support assistant doctors with commitment and promote their professional development.

• You would like to actively develop our cardiology department professionally, organizationally and strategically.
