Main responsibilities
- Clinical care of inpatients and outpatients Practice of general and visceral surgery
- Maintaining the Hôpital du Valais’s recognition as a center for visceral surgery in the field of highly specialized medicine (MHS)
- Participation in the management and development of the general surgery department
- Participation in teaching activities for residents, students, and paramedical staff
- Participation in multidisciplinary meetings and collaboration with university centers
- Participation in on-call duties for the surgery department in collaboration with the emergency department at a Trauma Center-level facility (MHS) Qualifications:
- Federal specialist certification in general surgery or equivalent certification
- Extensive training in visceral surgery or a qualification deemed equivalent Focus on colorectal surgery
- Several years of experience as a chief resident at a university hospital
