Full description
Attached to the Head of the Business Solutions department, you contribute to the realization, smooth operation and evolution of the applications of the information system to meet the needs of the professions. In an environment including web applications developed in PHP, you intervene in needs analysis, programming, testing, maintenance and application support. You help to evolve existing solutions in accordance with the guidelines and standards defined by the DSNI. Your missions and responsibilities
- Document the applications, developments and solutions implemented and maintain the technical knowledge necessary for their exploitation
- Collect, analyse, validate and document user needs, in collaboration with business interlocutors and other NISD stakeholders
- Analyze requests for change, assess their functional and technical impacts and assist in the preparation of solutions for implementation, in collaboration with business analysts and relevant officials
- Understand the architecture of applications and the role of their various components in order to achieve the necessary developments and adaptations and to guide applications from other stakeholders
- Designing and implementing the application and algorithmic logics necessary for the development and evolution of business processes
- Perform functional and technical analyses and develop or adapt application programs and features, including in web/PHP environments, in accordance with defined requirements and standards
- Designing and carrying out unit tests of the developments carried out and contributing to non-regression tests, recipe and validation of developments, in particular through the creation of test sets
- Develop, adapt and test scripts and database processing necessary for the operation and evolution of applications
- Document applications, components and developments and maintain the technical knowledge necessary for maintenance and development
- Propose and implement functional and technical changes in applications in response to users' needs, ensure their corrective and scalable maintenance and contribute to application support.
- Full university training in management computing or equivalent
- 3-5 years of professional experience in programming, development and maintenance of applications, ideally in an existing application environment
- At home in Microsoft development environments
- Practical experience in developing web applications and good knowledge of PHP, JavaScript and SQL
- Knowledge of application integration principles and REST APIs, as well as a version management tool such as Git
- Ability to analyze an existing application, understand its operation and architecture, and then realize the necessary developments, corrections and evolutions
- Experience in unit and non-regression testing and development documentation
- An initial experience or knowledge of Low-Code solutions is an asset.
- Autonomy in technical realization, rigor, ability to analyse and solve problems, curiosity and adaptability
- Service sense and ability to collaborate with trade and technical partners
- Good understanding of technical, spoken and read English
- Autonomy, mindset "client service", curiosity/perspicity and adaptability.
