Senior Legal Counsel Description
We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel for our Legal Team in Basel.
In this role, you will advise the company on demanding national and international legal issues and assume responsibility for complex M&A transactions, international contract negotiations and strategic projects.

- We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel for our Legal Team in Basel.
- Self-responsible management and legal supervision of M&A transactions – from the "Diligence" to the "Post-Merger integration" – preparation, examination and negotiation of international contracts as well as further development of global contract standards – Legal advice of the "Hauptstadt" and the international subsidiaries on corporate, contractual and economic law issues – Support of the General Counsel in the areas of corporate governance – Cooperation in strategic and cross-sectoral projects and representation of the General Counsel if necessary
- At least 5–8 years of relevant professional experience as an in-house legal Counsel in an international company, ideally in the medical technology, pharmaceutical or life science industry; experience in a listed company of advantage
- Well-founded experience in the independent execution of M&A transactions and in the negotiation of international contracts
Main responsibilities
