  • As part of its development, the Medical Emergencies Service recruits two senior emergency medical practitioners to join a structured, caring and quality-of-care team.
  • Senior emergency physician (ref: 1933) Recognized by the Swiss Society for Emergency and Rescue Medicine (SSMUS) and a member of the Genevois Emergency Network (RUG), our service provides complete support, 24 hours a day and 365 days a year:
  • More than 33,000 visits per year, with varied and sustained medical activity.
  • An emergency ambulatory unit and a line of patients "bed down" (vital and semi-emergency emergencies). A short-term observation unit (UOCD), equivalent to the French UHCD. A post-emergency referral unit for close patient monitoring.
  • Direct access to hospital specialists, without delay and in a spirit of collaboration.
  • What You Will Do As a senior physician, you exercise with real clinical autonomy, while actively contributing to the life of the service:
  • Care of adult patients in all the diversity of medical and surgical emergencies, from vital emergency to unscheduled consultation.
  • Clinical supervision of assistants and internal physicians: supervision, validation of decisions and daily transmission of knowledge.
  • Participation in continuous improvement of service protocols and practices.
