Role overview

Introduction For our Research & Development division, we are looking for a Project Manager (H/F) whose main mission will be to develop innovative Laser technologies for watch applications.

Responsibilities

  • Propose innovative solutions in connection with the latest developments in the laser field and participate in technological monitoring
  • Manage projects (planning / reporting / budget monitoring)
  • Perform tests, characterize the results and write technical reports
  • Perform demonstrators and small series of watch components
  • Work with other R&D team members and partner services (industrialization, quality, operation, etc.) to ensure the industrialization and optimal integration of new laser processes into production flows
  • Work actively with external partners: research laboratories, universities, technology suppliers and other strategic partners, to foster innovation and accelerate the development of new processes Profile
  • Diploma of engineer (HES, EPF, Master or equivalent) in applied physics, materials, optics or related fields
  • Master of laser processes (cut, machining, gravage,...)
  • Knowledge CREO is a plus
  • Good knowledge of laser-matter interaction and associated physical phenomena
  • Practical experience with laser equipment (piloting, basic maintenance, parameterization, optical assembly and laser beam characterization)
  • Skills in technical project management
  • Knowledge in dimensional and topographic characterization of watch components
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and synthetic way, both orally and in writing (English and French technical)
  • Excellent relational and sense of communication
  • Autonomy and spirit of initiative
  • Rigor, spirit of analysis and synthesis
