Your responsibilities
In the industry segment of HUBER + SUHNER, we develop and manufacture innovative high-frequency cables and connectivity solutions for demanding applications worldwide. For the further expansion of manufacturing technologies, we are looking for a technically-savvy and innovative personality who will help shape our next generation production processes. They play a central role in the development, industrialization and continuous optimization of manufacturing processes, plants and technologies for the production of radio frequency cables. They accompany new products and technologies from the concept phase to stable series production and make a significant contribution to quality, efficiency and innovation.
- Basic technical training with completed engineering studies (FH, Bachelor or Master), preferably in mechanical engineering, process engineering, materials science, plastics engineering or a comparable field of expertise
- Several years of experience in a manufacturing environment as well as in product or process development, industrialization or plant development
- Experience in the development of machine and plant concepts as well as in the preparation of specifications
- Experience in project management or in the cooperation of interdisciplinary development and industrialization projects
- Strong communication and team skills as well as enjoyment of working with a wide range of specialist areas
- Ability to communicate complex technical contexts in an understandable and convincing manner
- Independent, structured and quality-oriented working method with a pronounced hands-on mentality
- High initiative, innovative spirit and enthusiasm for new technologies
- Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
- Knowledge of data analysis, digitalization or Industry 4.0 applications is an advantage
- Experience in high-frequency technology, cable technologies or continuous production is desirable
