Full description
We're looking for an 80% nurse for our pediatric emergency department at the Clinic and Permanence of Onex SA. You will join a dynamic team in a stimulating environment where the quality of care, responsiveness and support of children and their families are at the heart of our priorities. Your missions
- Reception, evaluation and care of children in emergency situations, in collaboration with the medical team.
- To carry out the clinically appropriate nursing care of the child in accordance with the protocols in force.
- Ensure clinical monitoring of patients and adapt the management according to the evolution of their condition.
- Administer treatments and perform prescribed technical actions.
- Participate in the management of paediatric emergency and acute care.
- Accompany and inform parents throughout the care, with listening and benevolence.
- Ensure the traceability of care and ensure the quality of documentation in the patient file.
- Work closely with physicians and other health care professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety and good practices.
- Participate in service life, team meetings and ongoing training.
Your profile
- Diploma of nurse recognized in Switzerland and right of practice in the canton of Geneva.
- Experience of at least five years in pediatrics.
- Obtaining the Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) certification or to perform.
- An experience in paediatric emergency service or acute care is a real asset.
- Excellent ability to manage emergencies and work under pressure.
- A sense of responsibility, autonomy and good organizational capacity.
- Team spirit, relationship ease and caring approach to children and their families.
