Role overview
In collaboration with the HUG Oncology Department and with a view to improving the outpatient and home care of cancer patients, IMAD set up a pilot project for the development of a home care facility specialising in adult oncology, based on a joint clinical route of IMAD-HUG to improve the continuity of care and home care for people with cancer who are being treated at HUGs.
The team formed will carry out a very broad and complex activity in the clinical, social, psychological and environmental activities of the client.
The EISO team will also have the task of establishing close links with the specific Geneva oncological network (e.g. the Oncological Department of the HUG, the Cancer League, OTIUM).

- Effectively respond to EISO team-specific care by providing independent and medically delegated, technically complex home care to adult clients with oncological pathology, usually provided in hospital

- Provide comprehensive personalized care to adult clients with oncological pathology who are part of a global vision, taking into account their direct and social environment, their psychological constraints.
- Appreciate any need such as dietetics or occupational therapy
- Exercising the role of reference and acting in accordance with the principles of the nursing code of ethics
- Participate in the institutional mission to foster home care in a stimulating environment for our clients by developing interprofessional and interrelational relationships with the various teams integrated into the project
- Develop links and interactions with actors in the Geneva specific oncological network (e.g., the HUG Oncological Department, the Cancer League, OTIUM).
- Bachelor of nursing, permission to practice in the canton
- Oncology CAS with proven oncology for the field
- Minimum two years of work experience in home care Dexterity in technical care
