Lead Data Analyst — Talan

Full description

You will intervene throughout the life cycle of the data, including:

• Analyze and document data from various existing sources and systems.
• Design and evolve data models: conceptual, logical, physical and dimensional.
• Participate in migration and data integration projects .
• Design and implement data bases .
• Conduct exploratory analyses: profiling, volumetrics, completeness, anomalies, consistency.
• Write functional specifications of data streams: source/target mappings, transformation rules and boundary cases.
• Collaborate with Data/Engineering teams on flow design and implementation.
• Produce analyses, indicators and dashboards to meet business needs.
• Contribute to data quality, governance, documentation and lineage.
• Maintain and enrich the data catalogue.
• Support users and help formalize needs.
• 10 to 15 years of minimum experience in Data / BI / Data Analysis.
• Expertise in Data Modelling .
• Concrete experience in data migration .
• Experience in designing or setting up Data platforms.
• Excellent advanced SQL mastery: complex queries, multi-source joins, aggregations.
• Controlling a BI / Data Visualization tool: Power BI or Qlik.
• Good understanding of ETL/Data Warehouse architectures.
• Knowledge of MDM concepts and data repositories .
• Ability to draft functional specifications and formalize transformation rules.
• Good understanding of Data Quality issues.
• Excellent oral communication in French .
• Ability to be autonomous and strength to propose.

Assessed competencies

• Experiences with solutions from Data Virtualization, Data Catalog / Data Lineage, Data Quality.
• Good statistical knowledge.
• Experience in testing engineering.
• Experience in training and support of users.
