- Manage the end-to-end sample lifecycle, including receipt, inspection, LIMS registration, aliquoting, storage, distribution, shipment, and final disposition
- Ensure proper chain of custody, tracking, and documentation for all samples in compliance with GMP and internal procedures
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry), OR
Main responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end sample lifecycle, including receipt, inspection, LIMS registration, aliquoting, storage, distribution, shipment, and final disposition
- Ensure proper chain of custody, tracking, and documentation for all samples in compliance with GMP and internal procedures
- Perform sampling activities for raw materials, plant utilities, clean utilities, environmental monitoring, and cleaning validation
- Coordinate and support sampling activities at external warehouses (3PL) and manage interactions with third-party laboratories
- Support QC laboratory operations, including preparation, testing activities, and general lab maintenance (equipment, waste management, cleanliness)
- Assist in testing raw materials, in-process samples, intermediates, and finished products, as well as microbiological analyses (bioburden, endotoxin, PCR)
- Organize and oversee sample logistics, including storage conditions, inventory, shipment, and timely delivery to internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation within LIMS and other systems, ensuring data integrity at all times
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing clear communication on sample status and supporting daily operational meetings
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including optimization of sampling processes and updating SOPs/work instructions
Key requirements
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry), OR
- Laboratory apprenticeship or equivalent experience with strong industry background Experience
- Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience, preferably in a GMP-regulated environment
- Proven ability to work independently and maintain accurate documentation Skills & Competencies
