Role overview

- In particular, you will assist the Environmental Data Officer in its ad hoc analyses and cross-cutting projects Main tasks and responsibilities
- Support the collection, cleaning, structuring and documentation of environmental data, ensuring their traceability and quality
Main responsibilities
- In particular, you will assist the Environmental Data Officer in its ad hoc analyses and cross-cutting projects Main tasks and responsibilities
- Support the collection, cleaning, structuring and documentation of environmental data, ensuring their traceability and quality
- Participate in data processing and analysis via Excel and Python
- Participate in the establishment of EPFL's carbon balance and laboratory activities
- Participate in the CO2 calculator project at the level of calculation methodology and data
- Contribute to analyses to study the environmental impact and progress of sustainability practices at EPFL Contribute to the development of communication content on sustainability results and initiatives (annual reports, dashboards, infographics) Profile
- Master's degree in environmental engineering, computational sciences, mathematics, data sciences, or related fields (the internship must begin within 12 months of graduation).
- Master's degree in Excel (complex forms, VBA) and Python (pandas, numpy, visualization) for data processing and analysis
- Experience in best practices in versioning and code management (Git, GitHub/GitLab, etc.)
- Experience with desired data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
