Description of post
As a leader engineer or project manager, you are strengthening the construction engineering and technology sector (SITB). The team, composed of about ten people specialized in the various technical fields of the building: Heating-Ventilation-Climbing (CVC), sanitary, medical gas and electricity, manages about 60 projects in parallel. You thus evolve in an environment that is both demanding and innovative. In this role, you will lead construction or renovation projects, from design to implementation, while highlighting your expertise in CVC, Sanitary, Medical Gas and Regulation. With regard to CVC, you are involved in installations such as air treatment plants, the production and distribution of heating, overheated water, steam and ice water. For sanitary purposes, you are working on projects related to the production and distribution of sanitary hot water, purified or cooled water. You conduct pre-project studies by analyzing feasibility, identifying needs, estimating costs and defining planning. You write detailed specifications and propose technical solutions that enable informed decision-making. You ensure a rigorous framing of the projects, thus ensuring accurate validation of the objectives and controlled progress. You evaluate technical solutions by selecting the most suitable equipment and developing detailed plans. You are also preparing the bids needed to launch public tenders. You ensure active supervision by ensuring compliance with the laws, standards and regulations in force at each stage. You supervise the execution of projects by coordinating the different stages, following budget and planning, and ensuring optimal collaboration with project teams. You participate in the Steering Committees (COPIL), where you present the progress of the work, propose solutions to potential challenges and contribute to strategic decision-making. In collaboration with your colleagues, you intervene on other cross-cutting projects to coordinate actions, solve problems and propose suitable solutions. You also share your expertise with your peers to support them in managing their own projects. From a cross-cutting perspective, you are actively involved in continuous improvement by contributing to the evolution of the reference standards and technical guidelines. You update the documentation, perform a technology watch in your areas of expertise and propose relevant improvements.
Qualifications
You have a degree in technical engineering from the Master level building with a specialization in CVC and/or Sanitary. Additional training in project management, such as HERMES or Agile, is an asset. You justify a 3- to 5-year experience in a similar position, ideally acquired in a large company or institution operating in a complex environment. You are familiar with the construction industry in Switzerland, especially in Geneva, and you are familiar with applicable standards, laws and regulations. You have demonstrated your skills in project management methodology, including scoping, stakeholder management and support for change. You have mastered the MS Project tool for managing your projects. You have excellent relational qualities and leadership that allow you to collaborate effectively with your interlocutors.
