YOUR MISSION

Support our Data team by leveraging your academic knowledge on a major strategic project: migration and modernization of one of our Business Intelligence solutions. As a Data Engineer Trainee, you will be actively involved in the entire data pipeline, from pre-study to ingestion, transformation and visualization.

HOW ARE YOU GOING TO HAVE A IMPACT? •

Analyze and modernize existing: Study in depth the current solution (Cognos and SAP), document its architecture and flows, and conduct interviews with key users to collect their needs and propose directions for improvement.

Design and develop data streams: Build robust and efficient data ingestion pipelines using Talend, and design storage architecture on GCP BigQuery.

Transform and value data: Implement complex and optimized data transformations using the dbt framework, while ensuring a high level of data quality, compliance and consistency.

Give life to the data (Visualization): Design, deploy and maintain interactive and intuitive dashboards on Looker, putting in place key performance indicators (KPI) to facilitate decision-making by business teams.

Innovating through Technology Watch: Explore the latest trends in Data Engineering and offer innovative solutions to continuously optimize our processing processes.

Collaborate on a daily basis: Work in close synergy with technical and non-technical partners, adopting agile and structured practices.

HOW ARE YOU TO BE US?

Training: Student in master's degree in engineering school or university with a specialization in Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent.

Key technical skills: A strong command of SQL language, databases and data modelling concepts (Data Warehousing).

Technological affinity: A keen interest (or first practical experience) in the tools of our modern stack: Talend, BigQuery, dbt, Looker.

Your assets: Concepts of development (Python or other script language), familiarity with versioning tools (Git) and sensitivity to Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) will be greatly appreciated.

Personal qualities: Rigor, autonomy, curiosity and initiative. You also have excellent relational qualities and enjoy working as a team.
