As part of the development of its activities, our medical-social institution is looking for a head nurse. Depending on management, the Chief Nurse heads the care department. In its area of competence, it shall take part in the conduct of the establishment, provide management with the information necessary for decision-making and ensure the implementation of the guidelines adopted. It guarantees the quality, safety and continuity of care services, respecting the values of the institution, legal and regulatory requirements, and good professional practice. • The Chief Nurse is responsible for the organization and operation of the care department.
• It implements management-defined care policy, ensures its evolution and ensures that human and organizational means are adequate to meet the needs of residents.
• He supervises the health care teams, promotes the development of their skills, accompanies community leaders and ensures a working environment based on trust, respect and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• It guides continuous improvement, supervises quality assessments and indicators, ensures the application of procedures and participates in the evolution of professional practices.
• In collaboration with management, it is involved in human resources management, workforce planning, the development of budgets for its sector and the management of institutional projects.
• It maintains close relations with the responding physician, treating physicians, families, partners in the health network and the competent authorities, with a view to ensuring quality care. Profile sought
• You have a nursing degree recognized by the Swiss Red Cross. CAS in the management of health institutions, or equivalent training, required (or to be obtained in the course of employment).
• You benefit from an experience confirmed in a supervisory role, ideally in medical-social institutions or in the field of geriatrics.
• You have a good knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework applicable to MSBs, the quality approaches and the management and planning tools specific to the care sector.
• You are recognized for your leadership, sense of responsibility, analytical and decision-making capacity, and for your ability to unite teams around common goals.
• You know how to combine demand, listening, discernment and a sense of dialogue, and are comfortable in an environment where the quality of human relations is an essential condition for the quality of services.
