The Engineering and Sustainability Directorate (DID) provides technical and strategic expertise within the Buildings and Heritage Branch (RPB) in energy and environmental matters.
As a heating technician, you contribute to the operation and energy quality of the heating facilities of the Vaud State housing stock and ensure the technical link between engineering and building operation.
Perform technical visits to the heating facilities of the cantonal housing stock, prepare complete and documented site records, assess the general condition of the equipment, identify malfunctions and make recommendations

- Continuous training in renewable energy or energy optimisation
- Work experience of at least 10 years in heating installation (design, costing, construction monitoring) and of at least 5 years in the replacement of heat production with the integration of renewable energies
- Technical mastery of heating installations and technical design (schedule of principle, readings, codification and DAO), concepts of hypervision system and interpretation of monitoring data
- Ability to perform detailed costing, experience in conducting audits and carrying out technical state of the art
- Autonomy, adaptability and flexibility, ability to develop positive exchanges within networks of stakeholders and specialists, responsibility and ethics of the public service.
- Position in the Cantonal Administration of Vaud (State of Vaud), Switzerland.
