The Head, Private Sector Partnerships and Innovation (PSI), leads efforts to mobilise private sector resources and engage multinational companies and innovators in support of Gavi’s mission.
The role is responsible for developing and implementing private sector partnerships and innovation initiatives, brokering collaborations with stakeholders that can contribute to Gavi’s strategic objectives, and leveraging private sector expertise to address challenges across the immunisation landscape.

- Develop and implement strategies that generate private sector financing, expertise, technology and assets in support of Gavi priorities.
- Build and manage senior stakeholder relationships across target industries, foundations, investors, AI companies and global corporations.
- Secure and steward multi-year funding partnerships through effective engagement, negotiation and transparent reporting.
- Represent Gavi at high-level external forums and strengthen Gavi’s value proposition with private sector audiences.
- Lead innovation platforms, including INFUSE and innovation scale-up initiatives, to identify and scale impactful solutions.
- Develop partnerships with AI and technology organisations to support improved immunisation and health outcomes.
- Create ecosystems of investors, accelerators, donors and innovators that advance Gavi’s innovation agenda.
- Ensure strong cross-secretariat collaboration and alignment on private sector engagement opportunities.
