Role overview

Tasks: The prerequisite is an above-average doctorate in Germanistic linguistics or alternatively in another linguistics, if there is a capacity and interest to acquire expertise in Germanistic linguistics. The doctorate is not to be more than three years ago at the time of the job start. A researcher is sought, which optimally complements the team of system linguistics in research and teaching.

The candidate should have very good knowledge of the system linguistics (especially phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics). Within the scope of empirical methodological competence, digital, quantitative and statistical methods would be of particular interest. The ability to conduct independent and innovative research in the above-mentioned fields should be documented by publications and/or written samples.

Knowledge of current linguistic theories is desirable, as are experiences in university teaching, good networking, communication and team skills, high reliability and good time management.
