YOUR REASON TO BE IN THE HOUSE We are looking for a Head of Innovation Projects Movements which, within the team, will actively participate in the imagination, design, development and validation of new watchmaking concepts. You will intervene from the ideas phase until the demonstration of feasibility and the industrialization of the selected concepts. YOUR ROLE TO PLAY DESIGN, SIMULATION & ANALYSIS You imagine the mechanics to respond to the realization of this imagination You perform multiphysical calculations and simulations You study the kinematic, dynamic and energetic behaviors of the mechanisms You carry out the technical feasibility studies You produce technical files for prototyping, and participate in the production and development of prototypes PROJECT MANAGEMENT You work closely with many internal departments, partners and external institutions. You participate in design reviews You ensure all technical monitoring of projects REFLEXION, IMAGINATION & VEILLE Think about different systems and solutions in terms of performance or functions You are involved in technology watch activities and are the driving force behind the generation of new concepts. Success in this role depends on: A degree of engineer HES, EPF or equivalent in mechanics or microtechnics A solid experience with a watchmaker In-depth knowledge in multiscience, particularly in Newtonian mechanics, kinematics, material resistance and tribology, simulations, as well as a good understanding of watchmaking processes Mastery of layout and functional rating Mastery of at least one 3D CAD software (Creo, Solidworks or other) A creative and innovative spirit, as well as technical and scientific curiosity Vacheron Constantin celebrates 270 years as the oldest watchmaking factory in the world, in continuous operation since 1755.
