General description

Within the IT team of the Department of Medicine, you are the guarantor or guarantor of the proper use and functioning of the IT systems specific to the department. You are also the preferred interlocutor or contact person who guarantees to the DTN-IA the transmission of information on the transversal software but also in the interfacing of the software of the department.

Key responsibilities

• You lead the IT team of the Department of Medicine composed of 5 people who work according to their skills as computer specialists, form designer in DPI and data manager.

• You ensure compliance with the institutional guidelines within the IT perimeter by working closely with DTN-IA, the Biomedical and Equipment Service, the Real Estate Directorate, the purchasing center, you actively collaborate with suppliers, you manage certain projects in their entirety.

• The IT team manages approximately eighty softwares specific to the department. It is to guarantee their installation, their migration, their compliance with the IT security of the HUGs, their proper use by the employees, their potential interfacing with the other softwares of the institution.

• The medical department is 1'300 employees and collaborators with needs for computer equipment (computers, printers, accessories...) and telephony (telephone, subscriptions...). You assess the need taking into account the requested eco-nomics.

• The department's IT team also manages the production of new generic form for clinical documentation in the DPI (Informatized Patient File) computer application, as well as the modifications of these.

• You are involved in many continuous improvement projects.

• You participate in the permanent bodies of the DTN-IA and in commissions or groups of institutional projects.

• You also ensure computer coordination in the department's architectural projects.
