Mission

The main task of the Product Quality Improvement Officer is to pilot and analyse the problems experienced by customers at the global and transversal level of the company, to carry out audits of processes, products and systems internally or externally. Over a wide scope, it identifies, proposes and implements actions to prevent and improve products and quality processes throughout the life cycle (from design to customer service). He leads cross-cutting quality projects (product quality, quality improvement, complaints, etc.).

In line with the company's strategic objectives and the requirements of Patek Philippe, it defines and deploys Quality for the company throughout the product life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Identify, consolidate and prioritize quality issues by capitalizing on customer complaints, internal problems and service centres.
• Lead cross-cutting projects and lead teams to meet company-wide Quality objectives.
• Identify the issues experienced by clients and pilot the Quality Product indicators in place with the team for reporting to management.
• Identify and implement corrective and preventive actions and monitor action plans throughout the life cycle.
• Prepare Quality reviews and events Quality in partnership with the Heads of the entities concerned with Product Quality.
• Conduct process, product, system, provider (and/or service centre) audits related to the projects they pilot.
• Build, propose and argue indicators to optimize Product Quality.
• Pilot transversal sessions bringing together internal and external actors around product quality.

Profile sought

• Engineer HES or technician Es with a Quality orientation.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar position in a Quality Service, ideally in the watch industry.
• Good knowledge in watchmaking products.
• Mastering Quality tools (DMAIC, 8D, QRQC, Pareto and Cause-Effect diagrams, PDCA, 5 Why, ...) and problem solving.
• Good knowledge in cross-cutting project management with different trades.
• Mastery of statistical tools and office automation tools (MS-Office and in particular Excel).
• Good command of English.
• Listening, cross-sectional communication skills and meeting management.
• Spirit of synthesis and analysis, force of proposal, pragmatic, oriented results.
