Role overview
Attached to the management at the Home Hospital Centre (CHAD), the night home maintenance team (EDT) provides support to the day teams to offer the offer of late bedtime in order to promote home retention and the level of client autonomy.
The carer provides services independently or in pairs, respecting the customer's lifestyle, beliefs, values and culture at home.
He is required to travel throughout the canton of Geneva between 21:00 in the evening and 01:00 in the morning.

- Diploma of caregiving or training deemed equivalent
Main responsibilities

- Provide basic care in accordance with the techniques learned, respecting the criteria of safety, efficiency and comfort, according to the instructions of the situation reference
- Intervening in the customer's immediate environment to maintain comfort and safety
- Observe, during the intervention, changes in the client's activity and behaviour in order to anticipate any risk to his health and autonomy.
- At least 3-5 years of work experience at home or in institutions, disability experience is an asset
- Direction of contact and observation, while being able to discretion
- Listening and understanding of others in a home environment requiring adaptability
- Ability to evolve in a professional relationship respecting the individuality of the customer Ability to work independently
