- Technical skills: Completed vocational training and above-average technical watchmaking skills in the field of production, assembly and regulation of mechanical watches Experience in case refurbishment/polishing is a plus (commitment to learning these skills before starting work at the boutique is required, dedicated training will be provided) Technical understanding Fluency in English, Fluency in French is a plus Ability to learn and work with systems (e.g.
- SAP, ERP system) accurately and efficiently Personal skills: Highly motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and independence Proactive, sociable and positive attitude towards colleagues and clients; a team player.
Main responsibilities
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES BOUTIQUE SERVICES Perform complete services following A.
- Lange & Söhne technical and quality standards.
- Carry out authorized overhaul and repair interventions of standard calibers including: Complete Service with disassembly and assembly of movement Regulation of the movement Encasing the watch Independent error analysis and troubleshooting Watch case polishing (including laser welding) Provide clear, concise service explanation and immediate diagnosis to the boutique teams.
- Speaking directly with clients in the boutique does not fall within the main scope of a Boutique Service Watchmaker’s responsibilities.
- Execute on-the-spot strap, bracelet and buckle exchanges CUSTOMER SERVICE OPERATIONS Responsible for ensuring the boutique workshop adheres to health and safety regulations and audit readiness.
- Manage workshop tools and spare parts inventory according to brand and Group standards.
- Maintain accurate customer service data in SAP and internal manufacturing system.
- Discuss solutions to client complaints and recurring issues with the boutique team.
- Provide timely and quality reports to the ALS Deputy Director Manufactory to prevent future incidents.
- BRAND REPRESENTATION Represent and promote the brand at regional events, showcasing Lange watchmaking skills and sharing insights about Lange’s craftsmanship.
