Role overview

Your responsibilities

The “Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)” team is responsible for the availability of the technical facilities at our site in Herisau.

  • Ensuring the smooth operation of a technologically advanced machine park, including maintenance, repair and maintenance of manual, partially and fully automated systems in the areas of electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems
  • Increase plant availability and increase efficiency and effectiveness through preventive maintenance and continuous improvement measures
  • Central contact person in escalation management (second level support) for production at the Herisau site
  • Active participation in process improvements and technical projects with the possibility of internal development
  • Participation in the training of automatic trainees as practical trainers
  • Sub-project manager in the production of new plants together with the learners
  • Completed training as an automatic engineer, electromechanic or electrical installer – ideally with further training as a company electrician according to type. 13 or 15
  • Several years of experience in the electrical maintenance of plants in an industrial environment
  • In-depth knowledge in the application and programming of PLC and PC controllers
  • Compelling experience in smaller automation and optimization projects as a sub-project manager
  • First experience with the integration of Cobot’s is beneficial
  • Independent, reliable and team-oriented working method
  • High level of initiative, sense of responsibility and resilience
  • Good IT user knowledge
  • Stylish-confident knowledge of German, knowledge of English advantageous
