Role overview

As a care and accompaniment support, you participate in the patient care award in collaboration with nurses and physiotherapy and occupational therapy teams.

You welcome children, adolescents, their families and you install patients and patients in conditions of comfort and safety, taking into account the specific needs related to the age and health status of each child and adolescent.

• You provide patient and family support and support by informing them about the care and steps of hospitalization in a caring approach.

• You provide hygiene and comfort care and carry out the technical acts that fall within your competence, in collaboration with the medical-care teams.

• You also participate in the organization of fun activities and distractions to ensure their physical and psychological well-being.

You ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the care spaces, ensuring that the equipment and equipment are in good working order.

You perform household chores related to the patient's and patient's environment and contribute to their safety by respecting the hygiene and aseptic requirements of the HUG.

You help manage the unit's equipment inventory and demonstrate proactivity in updating equipment and knowledge references by adapting to the wide variety of specialties within the unit.

You provide all the information necessary for the care of patients.

You work with computer applications, including DPI.
