Introduction
As an Applied Physicist, you will join the ATLAS Group at CERN and be part of the team which is working on the upgrade of the muon spectrometer of the ATLAS detector.
In this upgrade you will play a crucial role, leading the electronics integration in the new RPC detectors to be used in the Inner layer of the Barrel Muon Spectrometer.

Additional details
- Your experience in commissioning and operations of gaseous detectors will be a strong asset which coupled with your versatility, and strong team spirit will be essential to the success of the ATLAS muon upgrade program.
- PhD or equivalent relevant experience in the field of Physics or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively in small to medium-sized teams under a leadership role. Technical competencies:
