Role overview
- Analyzing and programming applications as well as participating in the implementation of business needs in the field of computer science solutions (software).
- Develop IT solutions in the context of projects and the maintenance of complex specialist applications. Output of the delivery objects in accordance with estimates, deadlines and standards.
- Assistance in defining the functional and qualitative requirements as well as the requirements for the integration of applications. Perform "development tests" and create the technical documentation.
- Implement corrections and interventions as part of user support.
- Support application managers and project managers in fulfilling their tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Informatics or equivalent degree, ideally complemented by at least 3 years of experience in a comparable position.
- Solid experience with the conceptual application of these technologies: Web services and ETL in management informatics. Also good capabilities in the following technologies: Java, XML, JCL, PostgreSQL. Effortless use of these tools: Talend, Eclipse, Jenkins and SVN. Knowledge of agile methods. Knowledge of Adabas/Natural, Natural One and AI is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and networked thinking as well as conceptual, editorial and technical care.
- Independent, responsible and capable of teamwork.
- Knowledge of two official languages as well as good knowledge of English round off your profile ideally.
