Integrated into the Materials Laboratory department at the AMS site in Glovelier, you will conduct material analysis and manage various projects.

HOW DO YOU HAVE AN IMPACT?

You will be in charge of managing Development and Innovation projects. You will also ensure the full management of analytical mandates. To do this, you will need to perform advanced analyses. You will be recognized as an expert in your area of expertise and will have to ensure a role of advisor and trainer. You will also need to develop and maintain the facilities of the Laboratory while contributing to its operation, development and promotion.

THE KEY OF YOUR SUCCESS? YOUR SKILLS!

From a training course in Materials Sciences (EPF, Grandes Ecoles...), you ideally justify a first experience in the field of metallurgy. You are also comfortable with experimental techniques and enjoy improving analytical methods. Your knowledge and knowledge of MEB (EDX, EBSD,...) and other advanced techniques (DRX, Reflectivity...) would be a serious asset. Rigourous, methodical and endowed with a spirit of analysis and synthesis, you can adapt to different situations. A mastery of Excel tools or other facilitating tool for managing and/or automating data processing (Matlab, Python...) would be a plus. As part of the management of the laboratory's equipment fleet, you will have to take care of maintenance and contact with suppliers. Your proactivity, your great sense of organization, your autonomy and sense of initiative, and your ability to adapt will be assets to carry out this mission. A good team spirit and self-help is essential. With great flexibility and willingness to provide your experience and support in cross-cutting projects in collaboration with internal departments/laboratories, you appreciate team challenges.
