We are looking for a senior physician for our clinic for psychiatry and psychotherapy as of October 1, 2026 or by appointment for the geriatric psychiatry focus ward.
The Breitenau Psychiatry Center is one of several locations in the Schaffhausen hospitals, along with the child and adolescent psychiatric service and the cantonal hospital.
The Breitenau Psychiatry Center in the Breite district of Schaffhausen consists of the clinic for psychiatry and psychotherapy with its inpatient, day clinic and outpatient treatment options as well as long-term psychiatry.

- Leading a team in carrying out inpatient and outpatient therapies
Main responsibilities

- Case management of selected outpatients and inpatients
- Further development of the competency focus “geriatric psychiatry”
- Participation in the collegial background service of the clinic Requirements:
- Completed or advanced further training as a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy
- The existing specialist title in is advantageous Geriatric psychiatry and psychotherapy or experience in the psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatment of elderly patients
