Following retirement and as part of the harmonization of practices for reprocessing flexible endoscopes across all of its sites, the Friborg Hospital (HFR) is looking for a: Quality Respondent for endoscope hygiene and responsible for reprocessing flexible endoscopes 20% Your mission Under the responsibility of the Central Sterilization Manager, you ensure coordination, monitoring, validation, quality control, monitoring of repairs as well as continuous improvement of the reprocessing processes for flexible endoscopes on all HFR sites.

- You also have very good knowledge of Swissmedic and BPRE requirements.

- Participate in the harmonization of procedures for reprocessing flexible endoscopes across all HFR sites.
- Develop, update and disseminate procedures, work instructions and quality documents.
Key requirements
- You have proven experience in the field of endoscopy and reprocessing of flexible endoscopes (endoscopy nurse, technician, validator, or equivalent position).
- You also have very good knowledge of Swissmedic and BPRE requirements.
- You have recognized training in endoscopy, such as:
- CAS in endoscopy practice or equivalent training (major asset);
- REPIAS training or any other recognized training in the field of endoscope reprocessing; Skills sought
Application process
- Ensure compliance of reprocessing practices, traceability of operations carried out, compliance of the operation of endoscope washer-disinfectors (LDE), drying cabinets and endoscopes, application of Swissmedic requirements and Good Endoscope Reprocessing Practices (BPRE), monitoring of consumables linked to reprocessing.
- Supervise the maintenance, validations and periodic checks of equipment in collaboration with the biomedical department.
- Ensure an advisory and training role for employees involved in the reprocessing of flexible endoscopes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of practices and propose innovative solutions aimed at strengthening quality and safety.
