- The research profile as well as offered Master courses should fall within applied microeconomics.

- The successful candidate must have a doctorate (Ph.D.) in economics or a related field, and demonstrate an excellent research record in applied microeconomics, strong teaching skills, and the ability to supervise theses at the Bachelor’s and Master’s level.
- The University of Fribourg is bilingual (French/German).
- Fluency in French is required and knowledge of German (oral level B1) is expected.
