- Doctorate: (canonical) doctorate in canon law or doctorate in Catholic theology on a canonical law topic or doctorate in law on a canonical law topic combined with a canonical licentiate in canon law
- A habilitation in the field of the position or equivalent scientific publications are desired
- Knowledge of Swiss (cantonal and federal) state church law or the willingness to familiarize yourself with it is expected
- Scientific publications in the area of the advertised position
- If possible, experience in the acquisition of third-party funding
- Good pedagogical and didactic skills and willingness to undergo further training Willingness and ability to teach online
