Role overview
Your Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the assigned products throughout its entire lifecycle
- You assess the product lifecycle and initiate measures to achieve the business unit’s targets in coordination with the key stakeholders
- You are responsible for product definition and specification based on input and/or the roadmap from the Product Strategy Office, customers, R&D, and market trends
- You are in charge of direct customer contact, including the consolidation of customer insights
- You manage and execute all market- and product-related activities (cost reduction programs, cost control, pricing strategy, profitability)
- You lead new product integrations in collaboration with Project Management and Marketing (launch materials, online content)
- You translate the innovation roadmap into profitable and differentiated value propositions
- You oversee decisions regarding the regional coverage of products and harmonize regional needs via the product-market matrix
- You support and work in close collaboration with Technical Sales, customers, and R&D to define the product strategy and portfolio of the product line
- You are responsible for providing the necessary input and managing the development of the engine configurator Your Profile
- You hold a Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- You bring more than 5 years of experience in product management and engineering within the combustion engine development in matrix organizations
- You possess strong knowledge of powertrain solutions for land defense applications
- You are fluent in German and English (C1) and have an excellent command of French (B2)
- You have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project
- You are recognized for your strong commercial and customer-oriented mindset.
