Role overview

The Directorate of Labor Market Surveillance (DISMAT) is responsible, among other things, for combating undeclared work and implementing measures to support the free movement of persons.

It protects workers by enforcing health and safety at work (SST) standards and also regulates the work of migrants.

Key requirements

  • Degree in engineering EPF, HES or university title.
  • Safety engineer, ergonomist or occupational hygienist.
  • Federal certificate of specialist in Occupational Safety and Health Protection (STPS).
  • Good practical technical and scientific knowledge.
  • Experience in an activity related to labor law and/or occupational safety.
  • Driving license and use of personal vehicle.
  • Proficiency in German, English, or Italian would be an asset.
